Sasha Lenz, 45

Head Chef

Sascha is German born but has spent the majority of his working life travelling the world. He refers to kitchens around the world as his homes. He has worked in gastronomy for 25 years, 20 of which were at Michelin star or 5-star hotels in Bangkok, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Germany. He won Germany’s New Comer of the Year – 2013 and for 2 years worked for German Televisions ‘Food Styling Show’. He was also a finalist in ‘Cook of the year’ 2013 for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Sasha enjoys travelling and exploring new places, experiencing their wine and cuisine, always seeking to further his extensive knowledge. He holds a Michelin star ranking in three countries Austria (2005), Switzerland (2009) and Germany (2013). In his spare time, he enjoys walking through the Black Forest in Germany, watching football, cinema and skiing.

Erik Lengyel, 40

SOUS CHEF

Erik was born and raised in Hungary and has been working within the food industry for 20 years. Starting his training in Hungary he wanted to broaden his horizons and continue to learn by gaining experience in high quality restaurants around the world. After years of land based experience he decided to combine his passion of for gastronomy and traveling to join the yachting industry in 2012. Previously working on M/Y Axioma, M/Y I Dynasty and M/Y Mosaique he is very excited to join us once again. Erik specializes in Spanish and Italian cuisine but also enjoys cooking Asiatic dishes. In his spare time he enjoys football and the occasional game of golf.
